We are working since 1972 for the
Handicapped Community of our beloved country, We are having expertise in
these field, We are manufacturing and supplying mobility aids for the
disables all over the nation (Central Govt., State govt., Social welfare
associations, Handicapped welfare organisations
etc.). The Batra group is a modest group of companies, which was established in 1972, When its founder Mr.Laxman Batra ventured into the field of the physically handicapped persons. He undertook an intensive survey and found that in our society there were many individuals who were unable to go out of their homes due to their dependence on their family & also commuting was almost impossible to fulfill their dreams. After considerable thought and research he developed a tricycle which even the disabled could independently drive around the town, Which gave him independence in commuting. The invention was immensely appreciated by the social activists and was picked up by the NGO'S to be distributed among the physically handicapped persons free of cost for commuting. Shri A.K.Sood the Collector then took a keen interest and many philanthropic organizations as well as the central and state governments came forward to give a hand to the cause which was aimed at making the handicapped self reliant. After that we starting creating awareness in the society in general and the among the Physically Challenged in particular mainly on days like the International Handicapped Day. Now in the whole country district-wise survey of handicapped have become a regular affair and need. Since then the Batra group of industries has been making its modest but significant contribution by offering a wide range of handicapped products that enables the handicapped ones to be independent and gain their rightful place in the society with dignity and grace. Cycle Loading Rickshaw : For those, living below poverty line a loading rickshaw is in the pipe line. The poor families will be able to put it to various uses making minor changes in the basic design for industrial and domestic use. Health fitness exerciser: Today life has become faster and more than fifty percent people use automobiles for commuting. The lifestyle of any class segment has made it more health and fitness conscious. Neither they can change their food habits nor join expensive health clubs to control their weight and obesity. For such people Batra group has developed a wide range of exercisers. Our Products range now includes :
Research and Development: The group has been, through its R & D section, constantly improving upon its originally developed tricycle. Presently involved in developing battery operated model of three wheeler for the handicapped and senior citizens. These vehicles will not only save on the costs on the petrol but would be more eco-friendly on the roads. The various accessories and attachments that they can choose from and succeed in increasing the mobility and reducing the fatigue.
